I went to London on a business trip last week. Actually, it was first time to go on a business trip abroad. My company had another company in London and I went there to talk about our new product lines. There are ten British workers and seven Japanese workers in the office. One of the members there is my good friend. W e joined the company... umm the same year.

His name is Takashi and we went to the same college together. We know each other for almost twenty years. He was transferred to London two years ago, so, I couldn’t meet him for two years. I was so happy to see him again! Takashi and I had a great time after work. He knows many nice local restaurants and we had a great dinner every night. Before I went to London, my boss said, “English food is not good.” But I like the food in the local restaurant. We went to ethnic restaurants though, haha… But I like fish and chips and scones and tea. I’m not a soccer fan, but I also like going to the local pubs in London.

It was my business trip, but it was like a private trip for me!

In London, Takashi and I had a great time together after work. He knows many nice local restaurants and he took me to dinner every night. We had a great time together after work.

My boss had told me that British food was not good, but I like fish and chips, and scones and tea. I also like going to the local pubs in London. Although it was a business trip, it was like a private trip for me!
