Where are you from?
I am from Cork, Ireland and I went to university at University College Cork, graduating with an Honors Bachelors degree in Business Studies with Chinese Language Studies. I currently live in Tokyo, Japan.

Teaching Experience
I have a wealth of teaching experience spanning 10 years. I am TEFL certified. I have taught a wide range of student demographics. I have taught adults learning business English to Corporate Executives and business owners, adults learning English for travel and personal development, and young learners who are just starting out on their English learning journey.

Business / Education
I graduated from university with a double-major Honors Bachelor degree in Business Studies with Chinese Language Studies from University College Cork in Ireland. My major inspired me to pursue a career in Asia where I became an English language educator. While I was a teacher in China I was responsible for teaching private business English lessons to many corporate executives. I also taught a business English corporate group workshop at the corporate office of the French sports gear company, Decathlon, in Shanghai, China where the focus was communicating with their English-speaking team. I currently a wide variety of teach business skills, including, but not limited to, learning how to conduct negotiations in English, communicating with English-speaking clients effectively and making marketing material in English.

What makes my lessons special?
I am a reliable, experienced, and enthusiastic teacher with a talent for explaining complex concepts in clear and simple terms. I can cater to the students personal interests and requests, experiences and learning styles. I have excellent communication skills and can deliver enjoyable, progressive lessons to students of all levels. I look forward to starting your English language learning journey with you.

Interests
Traveling is a huge passion of mine. I have visited over 15 countries. Stemming from my experience in travel, I am very interested in cross-cultural studies. I also enjoy exploring my local area. I also really like fitness training. I am also something of a foodie and enjoy sampling all the amazing cuisines the world has to offer.
