自己紹介

Where are you from?
I am from Dallas, Texas. I currently live in Tokyo, Japan.

Teaching Experience
I have 20 years of experience working in ESL. I have taught a wide range of students including sales staff and researchers working in the pharmaceutical industry, high school students, and academics. In particular, I have helped students correct and improve their presentations, business documents, and essays, and I have helped many students prepare for the TOEFL, TOEIC, and IELTS exams. Additionally, I have two years of experience teaching online.

Business / Education
I hold a bachelor of arts in linguistics from the University of Texas. I am also pursuing a bachelor of science in mathematics at Indiana University East.

In my lessons...
Regarding my teaching philosophy, I believe it is important to create a comfortable atmosphere in which students feel free to express themselves and ask questions. Students can reinforce what they have learned by creating their own examples. Every attempt is an opportunity to learn and strengthen their understanding.

Interests
I love nature and animals. In my free time, I like to go hiking, visit the zoo, read books on zoology, and visit cafes around Tokyo.
