Where are you from?
I am from Canada. Canada is a great country because we are a young country and our culture is a mix of other cultures from all over the world.
Teaching Experience
I taught ESL for a year and a half in Taiwan. My teaching was mostly in younger classes, but I also taught adult classes. I have taught ESL classes for an Ontario school as well as day camps for English Language Learners in the Tokyo and Saitama areas over the past 18 years. I have also taken several courses for teaching ESL through the Ontario College of Teachers.
Business / Education
I have an Education degree from the University of Brandon and I have 18 years of teaching experience in the international school system.
What makes my lessons special?
I believe I am good at asking strong leading questions that encourage students to talk about their own experiences and interests.
Interests
Camping / Gardening / Listening to Music / Playing Musical Instruments / Reading / Yoga
