Where are you from?
I’m from a city is southern California called Corona. My favorite part of Corona is our big public library. It has a really large fantasy book collection, an art gallery on the second floor, and a lot of really comfortable chairs where you can relax and read in a quiet place.

Teaching Experience
While I was studying abroad in Japan, I gained experience helping Japanese native speakers learn English at the middle school, college, and adult business levels. I also have a TESOL certification.

Business / Education
My academic experience includes graduating from California State University Fullerton with a bachelor’s degree in Japanese with a minor in English. While in college, I studied abroad at Waseda University’s School of International Liberal Studies for a year.
Additionally, I have two associate’s degrees in communications and arts. As for business experience, I have held various jobs that involved customer service and office work.

My lessons are...
My goal for every lesson will be to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where you will be comfortable learning. Like you, I am learning a second language, so I can truly relate to the frustrations and triumphs of learning a foreign language. So, I will always be happy to answer questions, help with things that are hard to understand, and work through the rough spots. I will do everything I can to help you during our time together.
