Where are you from?
I’m from Canberra, Australia.
Canberra is the national capital of Australia.
Teaching Experience
I have taught English at a university in China.
I have also taught English to children and adults in Australia.
Business / Education
I majored in Japanese and Chinese for my bachelor’s degree at the Australian National University (ANU)¥. also have a Ph.D. in Japanese and Chinese from ANU.
I also have an MA in higher education from ANU, and have also completed two postgraduate training courses in online teaching.
Currently, I am working as a freelance translator.
I translate research papers and other documents from Japanese into English for university academics.
My translation business began in Japan when I was studying at Osaka University.
I translated business documents from Japanese into English for a company in Osaka.
In my lessons...
I love learning languages.
I also love teaching languages to other people.
I teach three languages – English, Japanese, and Mandarin
I am a very patient and dedicated teacher.
I speak clearly and am able to explain things well.
