Where are you from?
I am from Victoria, Canada. I am proud of being Canadian. Canada makes everyone from around the world feel welcomed and special. I try to bring that to my classes and make students´ feel special and unique.
Teaching Experience
I have been teaching ESL since 2006. I have taught children and adults in private schools, language schools, in universities, and online in Canada, Portugal, Belgium, South Korea and Japan.
In my lessons...
I am very patient and I make students comfortable. I let them express their opinions and thoughts in a welcoming environment. Learning a language can be very challenging and speaking a foreign language can be an intimidating experience. Because I have been through this, I put myself in the students´ shoes.
