Where are you from?
I’m from South Africa, famous for its rich culture and beautiful landscapes, and I now live in Canada, a diverse and welcoming country (with lots of snow!). Both places give me a global perspective I bring into my lessons.
Teaching Experience
I have ESL teaching experience with learners at varying levels, from beginner to advanced. I use a mix of communicative activities, personalized feedback, and real-world practice, including conversation, reading, and listening exercises. I also encourage students to use English outside the classroom through media and daily practice.
Business / Education
My experience covers both academic and business English. Academically, I’ve helped students improve their reading comprehension, essay writing, vocabulary, and presentation skills, as well as prepare for exams and study abroad. On the business side, I’ve supported learners in developing practical communication skills for the workplace, such as writing professional emails, giving presentations, and participating confidently in meetings.
