Where are you from?
I am from Kansas, USA. Kansas is the breadbasket of the United States, and we are also called the Sunflower State—what I personally believe to be the happiest flower of them all!
Teaching Experience
I regularly write collaborative fiction with people whose English is a second or third language. I often give pointers to improve their English and their storytelling!
Business / Education
I majored in English and Japanese at the University of Iowa, and I studied abroad in Japan. I’ve been working for the family business since I was in high school, and nowadays I teach English conversation and writing as well.

Quite simply: I love language. I am fascinated with grammar and how English works. I hope to be able to give a more nuanced understanding of grammar and vocabulary in my lessons!
