Where are you from?
I currently live just outside the capital of the United States, Washington DC, but am originally from the southern state of Tennessee.
Teaching Experience
I have been a writing tutor at my university’s writing center, and have been a teaching assistant for nine semesters.
Business / Education
I have done freelance research for individuals and companies desiring information found only in the various archival sites located in Washington, DC.
In my lessons...
As a former writing tutor, I have experience in assisting people in one-on-one settings in the language arts.
I also have experience in learning second languages myself (French and German), and therefore am able to take the perspective of a learner of a second language (and to take an outsider's perspective on the English language).
